Aya Abdelhamid is an international celebrity, bridal and editorial makeup artist whose work lives where fashion meets film — on red carpets and runways, in magazine pages and cinema frames, and in the quiet ritual of a bride's morning.

The craft is inherited. Granddaughter of Ashoub, one of Egyptian cinema's respected makeup artists, and daughter of Mohamed Abd El Hamid — more than thirty-five years in film and television — Aya is the third generation of a family that has shaped faces for the camera since the golden age of Egyptian cinema.

Formally trained at leading makeup academies in London and Hollywood, and named Charlotte Tilbury's Middle East Makeup Artist of the Year, she moves between Paris, New York and London fashion weeks, international film festivals, luxury bridal suites and global beauty campaigns.
